Argyle sweaters are back in style.  With the multitude of TV stars wearing argyle, along with several notable appearances in film this year,

it seems that argyle is making a comeback in many shapes and sizes.  Argyle sweaters, argyle socks, even argyle sweatpants are the new "in".

Interestingly enough, argyle is clearly not exclusive to men either.  Women are sporting argyle vests and argyle sweaters more and more these days.  Even teens are repopularizing the argyle socks that seemed to go out of fashion in the early 2000s.

So what are good parings of argyle style wear?  For men we would recommend wearing argyle vests with khaki or plain dress pants.  

One could even add a fedora hat to go along for the trendy metro look.  Argyle vests for women normally go well in an office environment

and could be paired up with pencil skirts, black skirts and more formal attire.  Cute short skirts usually go very well with argyle sweaters and vest.  It really depends on the situation.

Just be sure not to repeat argyle on more than two pieces or your look may seem overwhelming.
